For this project, I created an informational poster on the blue agave plant that grows in Jalisco, Mexico. This poster was designed to be hung in a tequila distillery because it informs the reader about the origins of one of their favorite distilled beverages.

The creation of this project was the first time that I had ever used Adobe Illustrator. It was a fun experience learning about the different tools that this software offers. The most difficult part of the design process was hand drawing the blue agave plant with the pen tool. This is because it required a lot of tracing in order to replicate the image of a plant. With a lot of hard work, the final design displays communication, color theory, visual design, and typography elements.
